Welcome to Z Design's handmade paper bead store. I make many of my beads from recycled paper materials, usually junk mail or store catalogues that would otherwise have a short life span and be thrown away. Every bead is unique in colour and shape and has an individual personality all their own.

Additional policies and FAQs
As my beads are all made from paper, even with varnish and resin coatings, they are still only water resistant, NOT WATERPROOF. They are sturdy enough to survive being used in jewellery pieces, but are not recommended for children under 3.

Please read the listings carefully as each one indicates what kind of finish/coating has been applied to the bead. Be sure to select the bead that best matches your intended use (i.e. don't purchase an uncoated bead to be used in a jewellery piece) as no refund will be given if you've selected the wrong type of bead.

As every bead is unique, there can be colour variations even within a batch that has been created from the same source. I try to represent the colour of the beads as closely as possible in my photos. The beads shown in the photos are the exact beads you are getting, not a random selection.

Should you have any questions please convo me and I will endeavour to get back to you as soon as I can.
