About

ZigZagStitches Project Bags and Organizers for Knitters

I inherited the love of sewing from my mother and grandmother. I was sewing my own clothing before I was a teen. Through the years I have also been obsessed with quilting, knitting, and other assorted crafts.

In 2007 I turned my sewing hobby into a business, and I opened my ZigZagStitches shop on Etsy. Since then, I have been providing knitters around the world with stylish bags for their knitting projects and supplies.

I run my business from my home sewing studio in Sarnia, Ontario, Canada, near the “Blue Water” of Lake Huron. My days are busy with fabric-cutting, sewing, photographing, and listing the finished items. I am drawn to color and bold graphic design in fabric. I use many of the current popular designer fabrics, also cotton/linen from Japan, and handmade screen-printed fabric. Over the years I have added new styles and sizes to my product line. Customer requests frequently inspire new designs.

I am a vendor at several knitting and fiber shows in Canada.
