ZMED BLOK PRNT
Zach is from Indiana and makes art using multiple mediums. His work ranges from functional ceramics, to assemblage paintings and video; from prints on paper to prints on t-shirts, to sculpture and installations. The common thread is the use of multiples and the repeating block-printed and stenciled imagery that he uses across all media to tell simple stories of Midwestern life. He has an MA in ceramics from Purdue University, and works as an independent educator, through arts centers, museums, and schools, often focusing on at-risk and rural populations. His work has been featured at academic conferences, and has been reviewed in regional art journals and print and online news media. His work is represented by galleries from coast to coast and has been exhibited extensively in the Midwest, including several solo shows.
