ZouZou's Basement is actually in my attic!
My little business, ZouZou's Basement, is named after my grandmother, from whose house I got the first items I painted and sold. Color is always my first design choice, and I love to add some wit and whimsy. I am very fortunate in discovering my passion as a child, and I have focused on Making Things ever since. As an adult, I have decorated store windows, worked in advertising, drawn sketches for interior designers, managed a retail shop, taught high schoolers, and I currently teach art classes to children, adults, and seniors, hoping to pass on my passion for finding something that creates a lot of joy. My "full time" job however (aside from raising two little boys) is running my business. My original shop, www.etsy.com/shop/zouzousbasement contains my paintings and limited edition prints. I decided to separate my paper items to avoid having to sort through all of the shop pages.
