I never thought I could love a dog feeder so much! This is so beautiful and exactly what I wanted to replace our old ugly plastic feeder with. I justified spending a little bit more on something so nice given it is a staple in our kitchen and I put a lot of thought into all of the other decor and items in there. I have recommended it to all of my dog nut friends.

LOVE this collar!! We get compliments everywhere we go! And it fits him so well (loose when he's lounging but gets tight while on our walks). Highly recommended:))

In the shop now is this cute little 4" high feeder for your little fuzzy buddy. Modern, minimal, Asian, mid century...fits anywhere!
Cutting boards are now available in the shop. Also in walnut!

Simple, elegant, useful

This shop started simply by making things that I needed in my small apartment and deciding that others might be in the same situation of trying to find quality kitchenware and small furniture that wouldn't disrupt the flow of your modern décor, even when it came to dog feeders. Mostly, I sell elevated dog feeders but over the years have designed housewares that are simple, elegant and useful. I think about how things are stored, how they feel in the hands and the convenience of certain shapes.
One thing I like about working small is that it gives me a chance to use up smaller pieces of wood normally considered scrap and thrown away, which I hate to do. I use up as much of a board as I possibly can.
The woods I use are from the urban forest (trees that were taken down due to disease, storm damage, or in the way, and then milled and kiln-dried.) The paint and wood finish are low VOC.
I have been designing and woodworking for 15 + years.
On facebook and instagram we are @zumowooddesign.

This sweet boy came into my life in 2006. He needed an elevated feeder and thus began this shop. Passed away 10/28/14 but is still in my heart.

Silly senior greyhound who constantly reminds me to take naps and eat treats. RIP 7/10/17 but still an inspiration.

Please let me know within 48 hours of receipt of package if it was damaged.
