It's almost 7:15 am in the morning here in Hawaii and I'm making my rounds to check on stats, teams, FB, etc... It's raining here today! Going to be a nice a cool day (I'll probably complain that's it's... ~cold~).

I started this thread to have a place for us to just... socialize! Get to know each other a bit. So when you're ready to take a break from all these business related team posts, stop by and chit-chat!

I'll be posting a new thread every week for this.

Omg I'm dying here moving, LOL. We moved everything in yesterday, so today is part getting organized and part go outside. Glad you're enjoying a lazy day on Hawaii!

you're back online! welcome back :-) unfortunately I have to embrace the "cold" and rain today! Have a list of errands to do :-( Would love to just sit at home and do nothing though hehe

I have been working on my shop all day. Seems that is all I get done these days.
Was so excited yesterday because I finally had over 100 items. Only to wake up this morning and have only 70. No I didn't have 30 sales. Unfortunately.
I had 30 listings expire. The pictures need work so I can't just renew them. So back to the drawing board. If only the sales would come!!!

Congrats on your 100 listings! Hopefully you will wake up tomorrow and 30 of them are sold :-)

Oh, I love this : )

Regina, I think I'm one of the rare people in the world who love the rain and cold, I long for it. I'm really excited to get an extended Winter. Especially because it hasn't really been cold at all in SC this year.

Jacque, I sympathise with your moving stress. We're leaving for Australia in a month, but since my husband is at work during the week, I do all the packing/organising in between house work and Etsy stuff.
We weren't able to afford to use International Movers, so we have to get rid of 95% of our stuff : ( and send what we can through the post. It's pretty crazy.

Sherry, congrats on getting up to 100. I know the pain of listings expiring. I didn't have 30 of them, but they were definitely a pain to edit and get back up.
I'm with Regina, I hope they really do turn into 30 sales soon.

Hello everyone, I'll be on tonight on and off in between doing some painting.
Got a nice order yesterday for 10 signs so I have been working on that today but also put a treasury together for SNS team (Saturday Night Specials). This is my third week doing the SNS.
We still have snow covered ground here in Connecticut, although it has started to melt a little today when the temps started to rise (in the 40s) and the sun came out for a bit.
I hear moving is one of the big stressors in life, so I hope you find ways to relax and not let it get to you, Jacque and Nicole. Nicole, do you have kids that you are moving too?
Susan (David is doing some sanding for me)

Susan, thanks for the well wishes. Thankfully no kids to try and wrangle together and get across the world. I say that because it's sad enough getting rid of some of my own things, I can't imagine how heartbreaking it would be forcing a child to let go of possessions they love. I think I would be pulling my hair out even more with the stress.
I've been here in SC for 5 years now. We have gotten about 1 snow fall every Winter, except this one. I'm still holding onto hope that we'll get one this month since it'll be the last snow I see for quite some time.

Nicole, I'll put together a "care package" of snowballs for you!
Drove through your state a few weeks ago - it was a lovely change for us.

I have a question for all you snow experts! I've never seen snow (well falling snow, I should say... saw some "ice" up Lake Tahoe in June one year). I'm going to my cousin's wedding up a mountain resort that MAY snow! How do you dress for an outdoor wedding?? This tropical girls is scrambling to get some clothes LoL! What do you think of those hand warmers? works?
