We Have Your Back WEEKLY TEAM SALES ADVENTURE #2

Who can join?

We Have Your Back has the following requirements:

Anyone! All people...struggling shops and those who have the giants...let's help each other!

There are many ways in which this can be done and many teams out there that do so in a variety of ways. I'd like this team to be different because the team members ACTUALLY CARE. So, if this doesn't apply to you, you won't want to join.

Hi all,
Are you ready for the next adventure to gain some great exposure and sales?? I can't hear you???

What happens is every week during one day or weekday we will have a team sale. We will have an agreed upon discount amount that we will all have the same coupon code on. And the sale will be a full 24 hours and then done..

How it works...
There will be room for 16 shops each week.

Every week we will have one team member take charge of the sale for the week.

We will decide on one coupon code and discount amount to be used in the shops that are featured.

The person in charge for the week will put together an awesome Super Sale Treasury featuring an item from the 16 shops of the week.

Then we all add something to our shop page on the day of the sale promoting the sale, (you can see an example in my shop, right now the other team I am a leader in is doing a super hump day sale. You will see how I chosen to advertise this within my shop.)

Then it is up to everyone featured to promote the heck out of it, tweeting, hearting and Facebook linking until the 24 hours is over..

Sound good? Any questions? If I get enough response we will choose a day and I will get the first sale set up...

I'm here to help you team!!

Sounds great :) I just recently started researching how to do coupon codes ... could you make my life easier and help me figure out how to work them? I would love to participate in this game :) What other teams are you on?

Coupon codes are really easy. There is an option under your shop stuff that says coupon codes, you click on that and just choose the name of the coupon code (ie: supersale10 for 10% off).. and click activate and your code is good until you deactivate it..

I am a leader on the team New to town. We are a very supportive, outgoing, communicative and promoting kind of team.. We would love to have any or all of you join us too, it takes nothing away from this team, but gives everyone more exposure and more etsy "family".. that's really what we are is one big family over there.. There are sales, weekly sales, BNS and BNR sales, lots of treasury making, promotions, advise and so many things that we do to help promote each other as much as ourselves.. a lot of my ideas and games come from what we do on that team as a team unit.. check us out & join if you want!
I say the more the merrier for both teams!!!

Besides that, I have not found any other teams that are as wonderful as new to town and as this team! I'm stuck on these two!!!

Hmmm....this puts me in mind of something I am doing with someone else I met here on Etsy. She is having auction of some items from several people's shops. Opening bid starts at $5 and goes in .50 increments...I have never done this before, but I am curious to see how it pans out.

Rebecca, coupon codes are simple. You select any set of #'s or letters and you select the amount of the discount or free shipping. Once it is set, whomever you give it to can use it at checkout and automatically get the discount you set.

I have heard of these auctions, but haven't seen or tried any.. feedback would be welcomed on that :-)

Do you know Dana if that means your items can sell for less than you are charging for them? Wouldn't want to lose $...
