Listings not sortable by most recently sold?

The #1 reason I use the listings manager is to relist the item most recently sold, yet it seems that I can only find it without searching if I use the Classic view.
Ironically enough, the most recently sold item is what shows by default when someone favorites my shop or comes in to shop and then sees whatever was sold last, not what I carefully selected to show first.
This is exactly backwards. Am I missing something?

Hi Erica,
Click Sold Out in your listings manager and then sort by 'latest first'. This should give you what you're looking for.

These items are NOT sold out. For example, I show 10 skeins of yarn available because people may want to order more than one. If 7 sell, I want to restock so that 10 are available for the next person. Sometimes an item is so popular that I want to have many available overnight when I am unable to manually refill the stock.
I can sort by lowest number of items, but this puts the single stock items first and I have to go through them all, then edit one by one. If I use Quick Edit, I can't sort them to find what I want.
In the Classic view, I can simply insert the correct number in each listing and press enter to get to the next. Very fast. The first ones shown are the ones I want access to.
Another benefit of Classic is that I can see more of these at a glance instead of giant images and lots of white space.

Hi Erica,
Thanks for providing this feedback. It's really helpful to know how sellers are using the tool to manage their stock. A few questions:
In the classic listings manager, how did you find this information - the most recently sold?
Also, when I am in quick edit, I can click enter after entering a new stock and I am taken to the next items stock box. I can do this in chrome but I think there might be an issue with firefox. I'm going to look into this.

Hi Erica,
I dug a little deeper into this and wanted to further explain a few things. Both the sort in the classic and New Listings Manager are correct. They are both being sorted by expiration - latest first. I see that you have multiple items with the same expiration date, likely because they sold out on the same day. Because they have the same expiration date, there is not necessarily a specific order they should be in. The order they are appearing in is arbitrary. I can see how this could be confusing because the most recently sold out items are not in the same order as they are on the sold items page of your shop home. This is great feedback and I've definitely passed it along. Lastly, if you're relying on the expiring latest sort to figure out which items were sold latest, you would still be correct. I hope this clarifies things a bit.

Quick Edit does not show the items in the same order as Classic LM and surely not as many in a view or scroll. Quick Edit is not sortable. I would have to hunt for the item and then change the amount. In Classic, it is the work of a moment to take care of this task that is something I do many times a day.

This makes perfect sense now and I greatly appreciate your persisting. It would still be great to add that extra sorting option of most recently sold.
