Most of the sellers avoid to ship to Italy.
I want to know the reason and your experience.
I have a request to ship silver ring , and wonder if anyone have any experience with shipping silver to italy...

The reason that people avoid shipping to Italy is probably because things tend to disappear there. I've shipped several orders to italy. I've had no problems so far. Might be more risky with jewelry though.

When I was traveling in Italy a couple of years ago I sent three cards home to my parents, only one of them arrived :D...

I am from Italy. Sometimes things disappear, this is true, cannot deny it.
But I have never ever had one single problem with abroad shipments (going abroad and coming from abroad).

Hi everyobody,

I used to ship to Italy but before I am asking the buyer to pay insurance, or including insurance in my saling price, never send something without insurance, don't put nice stamps or fancy parcel, everything will be ok,

Good luck and success

I live in Italy, no problem with registered and unregistered post for me (till now). First time I shipped to France: item stolen .... (the item in my avatar ... still now angry on that!)
I think everywhere problems are there, if you want to be more sure use the registered mail.
MIND that customs can block the parcel, if they are not sure about the content
