Original Post

Hi gang,

I was talking to one of our teamies and she was lamenting the fact that we don't have a comprehensive list of craft fairs anywhere. We had one in the autumn of last year where all of us just added any info that we came across, sharing opportunities. I thought now was a good time to start up a new thread for that same purpose.

So....if you know of a craft fairs, selling events, or even good consignment opportunities, will you please post any and all information and links you have?

(Sorry, I don't currently have anything that I'm aware of to share...)

Thanks for sharing the wealth!

A new feature allows us to PIN conversations to the top. This should be a very active discussion for the holidays with sharing shows to sign up for and recaps of shows.

POST MORTEM TIME

Only a few weeks left in the craft show arena. It's been great sharing where they are happening & who's going to be where. Now it's time to post your feedback on what shows have been Great, Good or a Bust. My ears have been close to the ground on this one and hearing lots of scuttlebutt that the continued economic gloom has impacted craft shows. Share honestly.

Corinth Old Homes Day is Saturday July 13th, they are having a craft as well as other activities at the Town Hall after the parade. You can set up before the parade ~8 am or after the parade, I'll be setting up before, getting thru town right after the parade is not fun. The price is free table space. Yes I said free. If interested, call Kristan Bryant 433-7500.

If any one in the Bangor area is interested in doing a craft fair, I have info for one.

WHEN: Saturday April 14th 9am to 2 pm
WHERE: Hammond Street Congregational Church (corner of Hammond & High Streets)
CONTACT: Lynda Ryder 947-1296 after 5PM or e-mail pondpaddle@msn.com
COST: $25.00 8 FOOT DISPLAY SPACE

Set up 7:30am day of event. 25-30 spaces. The church did a luncheon last year, you could buy sandwich plate or soups. Plenty of desserts too!

This will be there 2nd year, they do advertise. I took in a little more than I did at the EMT Waterville craft fair in Nov so will plan to do this one as well. Vendors who are approved before March 15th will be included in advertising.

Hope to see some of you there!

Temple Academy in Waterville will be having a Spring Craft Fair on May 12th, 9:00-2:00. This is the second year for their Spring Fair, but they are famous for their Christmas Craft Fair held in December and it is the best one in town! If you are interested in a table, call 873-5325 and speak with Janet or Nancy!
