Shop Exposure/Sales Opportunity?

Hello my lovely Upcyclers!
I have been experimenting with using treasury boards to gain shop exposure and sales. I am active in BNS and BNR boards and they are great! I get a lot of exposure for my shop and I have made several sales on them. The problem is that they really only cater to other Etsy shops. Straight customers/buyers don't use these boards because the BNS and BNR boards feature shops that buy from the board. A customer that doesn't have a shop won't have a use for that because they won't be selling anything to have featured.
Customers are a huge segment of the Etsy community and I really want to target them. I want to try a treasury board that is a sale board, where every store uses one coupon code for 15% off. The board would run for one week and then I would close it and start another one. You wouldn't have to do anything except activate the coupon code for the week that your shop is on the board and be willing to have your shop on sale for 15% for one week.
I have a decent Twitter following and a good Facebook following. I have an okay Pinterest following and good views on my blog. I also belong to many teams that I would post the board on. I would use all of this to promote the heck out of it. Any shop that participates would also be welcome and encouraged to promote also, but I will do a lot of promoting and am not relying on other shops to promote, although that would greatly help improve the success of the board. And by promote I mean stop on the board and "fave" it, put a post on your facebook that you are involved, maybe post the link on some threads on any teams you belong to that have a non team treasury board thread, and maybe a tweet or two if you feel up to it. Literally 10 minutes of your time or less and not at all required.
I would love to do boards that are only upcycled items. 15 other shops would be ideal, but I could do it with 7 other shops wanting to participate and each shop would have 2 items on the board. Would anyone else be interested in being involved in something like this? Does anyone have any questions?

The boards that are sales driven usually have an *open* and *closed* "sign" on the title. You can delete a board entirely, but I think I will probably leave the boards up and delete the coupon code. I will put that on the first post so it can easily be deleted. Then people can still look through the shops and there is still some exposure, but the coupon code won't be there.
The coupon code will also change weekly so they won't be able to take it from a newer board. Shops should also deactivate the coupon code when the board closes to make sure that it can't be used past the end date of the board. I will put my shop up every time, but I don't expect anyone else to keep a 15% off sale on their shop for more than one week.
Yay!!! Marcy is in!!! So we need a minimum of 6 other people. Anyone else want to be on the board? Or have any questions?

Tamara, I would love for you to join us in this adventure!!! Welcome aboard and thank you for wanting to test this out with us!
And I mean testing this out. haha I have never done a board like this before, but I am pretty confident that a board that starts with SALE will get attention. It would get mine. haha
Tamara makes 3 of us!! Yay! 5 more people, at least, will get us there!!! More are welcome of course. We can fit 16 shops on a board. ;)

Awesome!!! Yay Jen, Sarah, and Angela!!!
It's okay if only your newborn gowns are upcycled Angela. I can feature those on the board, but you may even sell other things from your shop too!
We are now up to 6 people so we really at a minimum only need 2 more! I'm so excited to try this out. Anybody else wanna give this a go?
