Should I repeat the same as my title for the first sentence of description or should it be different? Does it make a difference? Thank You!

It won't help at all on etsy search, it will help a little on google but only because you are sure to have your keywords (whatever they are) in both places.

For google it would be just a little better that you not repeat exactly but get the keywords in the first few senatances of the description.

I don't use the exact title as the first line because google doesn't like repetition.

However, I do make sure that the relevant keywords are in the first few lines of the description.

I agree with the above, I don't use the exact wording but I do use many of the words in my first sentence. I try to keep the main words at the forefront of each listing.

This is such good advice. I need to check my listings. Thanks.

I agree. All of my listings for our magnets were repeated in the first line of the description and I have been changing them as I get time so that the key words are contained in the description, but not repeated exactly. I think it has made a huge difference in my views, especially from Google.
