How to have more than 1 shop

Please can someone help me with some advice.

I don't seem to be able to find a definitive answer to my problem in the help pages etc...

I intend to sell my handmade crochet clothes etc, upcycled clothes, and also vintage jewellery & special vintage clothes.

Can I open 3 shops all using my 1 account ?

Or do I have to open 3 separate accounts under different usernames ??!! Seems mad to me if I do!

Many thanks for any answers I may get :o)

Thanks guys! Though we're focusing on ways other than managing multiple shops to help sellers grow and support their business, you can certainly manage multiple shops using multiple accounts.

If you decide to open a second or third shop there are two things to keep in mind. You will need to use a second unique e-mail address to open up the second account. And we do ask that you disclose each account that you run in each of your public profiles.

You can use the same Paypal e-mail address for each of your shops.

You can find more on operating two shops here:

you'll need a separate account for each shop. they must each have a different email address associated. and you'll need to disclose all of your other shops in every profile/shop description.

you can use the same paypal account for all of them, though.
you have to open them all independent of each other, they cant be all under one account. you log out of this one, and re-register with another email
You will have to have different emails & usernames for each shop

but you can use the same credit card info & paypal accounts

I currently have 4 shops, and have all the emails forwarded to one account. I use two browsers to be able to log into 2 accoutns at the same time

It takes organisation but having multiple shops can be done successfully
Thank you for such prompt replies !

I can see how it would be a pain to switch constantly between 3 different shops... but I'm not sure if the 3 different themes would successfully fit together in one shop. It wouldn't have the same unique image and theme, and I think my overall sales would be less if all in one shop as it would appear messy and confused.

There was a recent announcement that they are planning to change it so we can have multiple shops under one account - YAY!
Oh neat ! Wonder what the timeswcale for rollout is ! ??
well, they announced it back in January of 2010....
so dont hold your breath
as Lego said, they announced this a while ago, and the most recent word is that it is no longer in the immediate pipeline, so I don't think it is coming anytime soon. :)
:o( Shame - it seems an obvious thing to develop for sellers...
