I'm always suspicious of members who constantly change their AV. I'm sure they're up to no good ;-)
Uh oh, that is me. In both my shops. ;)

LMAO I'm remaining a bigamous enigma in case Debbi works out I'm actually Dad's second wife

I snorted coffee out of my nose from laughing so hard when I read this! Thanks for the comic relief!

ETA: I've recently been on the receiving side of having my shop reported resulting in it being shut down for several days. It was hell, pure and simple. But I provided all the required documentation Etsy required and they reopened my shop. I know not all shops have had that outcome.

At first I was VERY angry that I'd been reported, I mean who wouldn't be. All of my items are handmade by me except for the few pieces of vintage jewelry which are listed in the correct category and clearly stated in the description.

But I've since calmed down I decided to take a positive attitude about it. For instance, I now have my very first step by step tutorial that I plan to add to the blog I'm starting. And my husband pointed out that I should take it as a compliment that someone thinks my stuff is so well made that it could have come for a big box store! Personally, I don't want my stuff to look like it came from a big box store. LOL
Agreed, great comic relief. Although it appears the sock puppets are mostly sporting avatars now, so whether you do or don't have one, doesn't have a lot of meaning in that respect.

There was a shop I became aware of looking like a reseller but violating other TOUs too. I reported them multiple times over months. That shop is now gone, finally, but I have no idea if any of my notifications had anything to do with that. Sadly, I am recognizing some photos and think they are back under another name, or it is another shop reselling from the same source.

Edited my typo.

LOL Debbi
If Store E sells lots of items but it is questionable whether said items are hand made, why shut them down when they bring in so much revenue? I bring I very little. My opinion isn't worth much . . . literally and figuratively.

Previously, when I've reported a reseller, I supplied admin with the wholesaler's name, catalog issue #, and the page number in the catalogs. In each case, the etsy shop vanished a day or so later.

This has been my experience. Problem is they pop back up with a diff. shop name in a few weeks and start selling again. don't even have to type anything, just show up! *lol*
