customer realized her mistake after negative feedback

I have never received negative feedback until today, and it was from a customer in the UK. Her comment was that she had no idea she'd have customs charges. I plainly state in Shipping to be aware of each country's customs charges, ESPECIALLY the UK. Just really makes me mad when you have no recourse on something like this, over which I had no control. I'd already left her positive feedback. I feel like there's a black mark on my reputation now. This was her first Etsy purchase so I doubt there'll be any retraction attempt.

Just wanted to rant a bit.....
Southernwoolies, bummer! I was just in a forum discussion yesterday where people were pointing out that ebay has a policy will they will remove negative feedback soley based on customs issues. It would be nice if etsy had that policy as well.

eta- customs issues where the buyer is complaining because the seller wouldn't lie on the customs forms, or the buyer wasn't aware they might have to pay fees, taxes, etc.
oh so she offered it already? cool
problem solved!

good luck
