Thanks for the great feedback and the lovely comments! I love that page too!

I've seen some confusion about the difference between Profile and About. Fair question!

I guess there might be a little overlap in some cases, but the short answer is: the Profile is about you as a maker/artist/seller; the About page is about your shop, the creation/sourcing process of your items, your business, your studio, the people who work with you.

Get creative! Tell us how this business came to life. Tell (and show) us what your studio looks like. Tell us what each person who's involved in the shop does, and show us their picture!

"A shop's About page is where you can share the story of your business with the community."

the profile is about the individual, not the shop, really, although we have used it up until now for info on the business too.

Hi Anee - thanks for clarifying for people!

I like it :) Just tweaked mine a bit. I did have an issue with photos though. They keep rearranging themselves so they seem a bit out of order. glitches will happen though...just a heads up.

Can someone please tell me what size your photos are? I read two diiferent posts with two different sizes. I looked for admins posts with this answer but haven't seen one.
Thank ya~

One more thing, to clear up any confusion.

Generally speaking, a good use for the Shop Announcement is to give your buyers a welcome, quick information, and let them know of anything that's happening right now in your shop. Like the name says... announcements!

If you have a sale going on, if your turnaround time is longer for the season, if you just added a new section, etc., the Announcement is best place to share that!

Thanks Anee for clarifying.

I'm not sure many people read the Announcements, especially for important information, since they're so very short in original display -- only a line and a half.

But if we could change the font size and color -- maybe!

Since I don't make the items I sell, and have a serious need for personal privacy, there is no reason for me to complete this page.

There really is no "story" to tell about my shop. I am no longer buying; I have purchased almost nothing for my inventory since 2006. The interior of my home is my personal space, and there are no photos of me (except for my driver's license) after the late 1980s.

Love it, can you tell us where the link is for our shoppers on our shop page...how do they access the new page... I am sorry if this has been asked already! Thanks!
