Alchemy Issues

I know this has been brought up before I feel it is something that is important and needs to be discussed again.

I've noticed that mnay of the requests in alchemy seem to be for copying others work (even some here on Etsy). Copyright seems to be a big issue with people here, as well it should be.

What are Etsy's policies regarding alchemy requests that ask for someone to copy another persons creation/artwork?

If you check the alchemy listings now there are quite a few that ask this.

How do others feel about it?

The problem is that only the person who holds the copyright can really do anything about any infringement. We can say anything we want, but we can't really do anything except not bid on it.
yeah, i've been noticing that too ts. I'm not aware of any policies specifically against it, but there should be, imho.
