If I may be so un-grateful, the blog post does not address the problem of why the ads are so annoyingly irrelevant and what can be done to change that. Admin has made no concession that there is a problem with the relevancy of the ads.

So you're missing pretty much nothing.

If anyone interprets the blog post otherwise, I would really love to be proven wrong on this.
^^^^No, the blog post says nothing about ignoring the category where the shopper is searching and the resulting display of irrelevant impressions. Which we are paying for.

It seems this is yet another case of Etsy designed category bleeding.
Whew...glad I'm not the only one seeing the elephant in the room....
I just don't see the point if I can't choose the keyword to go with the item. I could edit and edit and just promote one item at a time?? But what if I want to promote Cabochons and bead sets?? Which tags go with which and what about a Pandora bead which is like a charm should that come up under sea glass beads???
Eh. It's better in theory than in practice.
