Is there any response? Should I just assume I am not going to get any help here and just for get it? Wow, what a bad experience this has been. Can't even get the tech team to fix something.

Has anyone out there heard if the tech team is working on putting my shop (and others) back the way it was before this shipping change mess?

I am waiting for some help here, but I don't even know if anyone is working on this or not.

I only have 300 items, but if I lost my shop arrangement, I would have a cow.

Carol, I don't think they can put it back to the way it was and I doubt whether they are even working on this anymore now that it's fixed.

I AM having a cow.....and a horse and a few cats and dogs. Who the heck is going to compensate me for all the lost time to put it back the way it was? You would think Etsy would offer me some free listings for the time I was down and the time to fix this, but they have not even answered me here. I am so frustrated with this right now.

They were able to put it back the way it was when this same thing happened when the site was down around the end of June or the first of July. If they could fix it then, they should be able to fix it now. I mean, gosh, this is not beta world or anything. They keep saying they are looking into this and will let me know if they can fix it, but they have not even answered me on this....just not being very helpful at all.

You know, I really love this site...there is nothing out there like it, but they really need to get to work and make some very important changes for their sellers so that they don't lose us. This shop arrangement is only good for the whole shop catagory and when a customer goes into a certain section, then everything is not arranged as you have done it in the whole shop catagory. What a waste of time. And then when you renew an item, it does not default back to the place where you had it, and you have to go back and arrange it again. More waste of time. Anyway, I am just venting. Thanks for listening.

Hi Carol,


We've been working with our engineers - both those responsible for the Rearrange Your Shop tool as well as some more directly connected to data and site operations - in order to determine whether or not we could restore your shop. We're really sorry that we've taken so long to get that answer for you, but we will be unable to restore your shop's prior custom order. We investigated a couple of different ways to go about doing so, and nothing was successful. I wish I had better news to share with you!

Well, I kind of thought this was going to happen. Bummer! Please thank the tech team for trying, though.

I will give up now and just move on. However, I will not be spending all that time to rearrange everything the way it was, because there are just too many listings to do that. I am just going to do a more general arrangement and see how it works out.
