Etsy crashes in chrome

Every time I go to the front page of etsy on my laptop I get an "Aw, snap" error message from chrome. It has happened on other etsy pages and a different computer as well.

May be something to look into.

One thing to try is opening www.etsy.com in an incognito tab in Google Chrome (File --> New Incognito Window). This will disable all of your extensions and start you off with a fresh browser cache. If everything works in this mode, then it is likely that one of the extensions you have installed is reacting poorly to something on Etsy. At that point we can narrow it down and try to fix the issue!
If you're using a Chrome and you find that you run into any pages with a Whoopsie error I would suggest clearing your cache and cookies.

That should clear it up. If not please feel free to post a new thread since this one is a bit old. Thanks!

I'm using chrome and just visited the front page and didn't have any issues...just fyi.
Etsy works great for me using Chrome
It also does this to me on one of my computers. Last month I asked what they were using to run the new header (not the banner, but the three images with whatever they are promoting at a given time).

Nobody answered. So, Matt, if you're around - what is that function using? Is it shockwave, java script, something else? I'd like to update whatever it is I'm missing so I can log in without coming to the forums first.
Hi folks,

This is a tough one. I think we would have know details about each of your systems, and look for anything in common. The version of Chrome, OS of the computer, any particular security settings that effect javascript, addons enabled in the browser, if you have found other websites that are affected the same way. That's fair for a start. If you would rather, feel free to email information to Support and we can conduct the investigation that way. Thanks!
If you're using windows 8 you'll get all kinds of obnoxious errors while using Chrome. I'm sad.
It's just Etsy that crashes and I know it's related to the banner...so I'm I right to assume I should start with javascript?
Same thing here. Etsy front page crashes every single time on Chrome. Cannot access it at all, in fact. It's the only site that does, so I know it's not my computer.

Jonathan, it immediately crashes in an incognito window, too.
