PayPal probs today?

Is anyone else experiencing PayPal problems today?
I've been trying to send an invoice and make a payment for more than 2 hours now and once I reach the end of my transaction and hit enter it leads me to an "abort" message.

I wish! No sales for awhile, but I have had my share of problems with them. I would call their customer service.

I just got off the phone with them - thankfully the payment I was trying to make went through but the invoice i'm trying to send won't work.

Yeah, their invoice feature has not worked since last night. You can try sending an email request for payment. That's what I had to do. It took me 3 times though.....

i just tried to send the invoice again and it failed. of course there doesn't seem to be a way to explain the fault via email with PayPal
and when i spoke with the representative earlier today she didn't know what i was talking about.
i was just trying to combine shipping (saving my customer 50 cents) so i said if she wanted to go through the payment and pay the extra 50 cents i would include 2 extra cards for her.
i hate making her wait though.
i'm glad to know it's not just my computer and/or connection

You can also ask your customer to send the payment to your paypal email account with the adjusted amount quoted in the note section. I know how you feel, I thought I would go nuts last night trying to send that invoice, I had combined two items, etc.....

So, it's not you, keep trying and it will work eventually. My buyer was very nice about it, hope yours will be too.

Well it still isn't working - I also had two items - but she made payment and I'm sending her some extras - so for now I guess it's a win-win.
Guess we have to accept a few hiccups with this new technology of convenience...
blah -- me too!! Invoice tool not working at all right now. Going to try the regular email request now...
...okie dokie: that worked on the first try. But it doesn't look as nice/pro as the invoices which I am rather fond of b/c they let us itemize. This is the first time I've had trouble using any of their little dealies. Bummer! I hope they fix it soon.
Yes - I tried for an hour to invoice someone, and their (!) system kept crashing over and over and returned error screens.
