Seller response to negative feedback
If you feel that the feedback reflects poorly on your shop then it might be necessary to make some changes to prevent the same issue from happening again.
I also agree that it would be great if customers convoed first and left feedback second, so we have a chance to work through any issues. Unfortunately, not all customers do that.
Buyer's feedback can't be seen anyhow, so even if you were able to respond, no one could see it but you and the buyer. The system as it is now, is pretty much useless, and only sellers are held to a standard of excellence.
Some sellers like to leave feedback immediately after the buyer has paid, but knowing there's no way to respond to what may be unfair feedback, I choose to wait until/if they leave mine, so at least a potential buyer could read what I've left for others in my own defense, because there are people you just can't please... had a fight with hubby... woke up crabby... hates their job... etc ;)
