Everything about my shop is better than last year, my products are more dialed in and better quality, I have more professional photos, all positive feedback, etc. And like I said I'm getting about a third MORE traffic than this time last year, so why no sales? Do people just not like my product enough compared to new completion? I'm really at a loss to explain it. I know the summer is slow for most shops but it's my busy season, because I cater to festival goers.
Do people just not have any money to spend? It seems other shops are doing well at comparable pricing structures.
The only difference I can find is my belts are a little more than last year, but it's like 20$ more, and that's because I increased the cost of my materials. Also I do ask 3 weeks to complete a custom order and last year it was closer to 2, so maybe that's it? Is that too unreasonable an amount of time? My custom orders just take a lot of back and forth to fine tune and I usually end up buying something to complete the look that I have to hunt for, so I need a lot of time, but I do explain that.
Is there something really off-putting that I'm not seeing? Even with a sale for the last few days it's made no difference. I'm not even getting any convos showing interest. Should I just give up? It costs me a lot just to have the shop up and I'm about to go out of business so any advice would be appreciated.
This is my direct link to the shop. Thanks!
