Ugh... writer's block! I've got one blog post up so far this month. That's it -- feel like such a slacker! Just can't think of anything to write about these days.

Anyone have any tips to share on how to get the creative writing streak back?

I will usually head out with my camera, take a picture of something going on in town (or wherever youre close to) and write about it... you never know what kinds of things end up being interesting.

Every post doesnt have to fit a category or theme, it is ok to just write about what is going on that day once in a while... plus it is great for writers block.

If you look at the post I wrote today at jcrabbit.com, you will see what this technique looks like in action.

Mitch -- I love your "poem Friday" idea. I should do something like that... at least I'd having something to post once a week... never thought about having postst that aren't specifically blog articles. Hmm.

Lloralye -- maybe I should try the free writing thing. I'm just afraid I'd zone out completely and end up with a full page of "blah blah blah" and nothing else! LOL!
