Pattern Patter Team is a moderated team with the following requirements:

The Pattern Patter Team is a group of Vintage Sewing Pattern sellers. Our focus is physical vintage patterns however; our members also carry modern patterns and some PDF patterns.

We provide help and support to our members through team threads, social media, optional subscriptions to CoPA, (Pattern Archive), as well as off-site advertising opportunities.

Our Threads are an important hub of information for our members. If you are not a person who will visit the threads often, please subscribe to the email digest **link is at the bottom of the page in the left margin.

Members assist each other with questions on pricing, dating, conditions, etc. Our daily chat is where we kick off our shoes and share each other’s glories and sorrows as well. Our members have an incredible range of expertise that they are willing to share with each other to improve our shops and our sales.

**REQUIRED** Each month every member must “check-in” by posting in the Check-in Thread. When checking in, please include a link to your contribution to the team. Below are possible ways to contribute. If you have a different idea of how to contribute, please contact the captain for approval.

•Team Treasury - Treasury must be 100% pattern patter members and include Pattern Patter Team Tag to qualify
•Blog Post - featuring member shops, items, tagged with team name. Promotes sewing with vintage patterns from team shops.
•Social Media - Links to a minimum of 3 social media posts promoting shops on the Pattern Patter Team other than your own.

All members are required to maintain 80% of the inventory in their shop as sewing patterns and comply with ALL of Etsy’s rules and requirements. For example, you must disclose any other Etsy accounts that you have or participate with in any way. You must list all people who contribute to your shop in any way.

About this team

PATTERN PATTER TEAM CHARTER

The Pattern Patter Team is an award winning team exclusively for sellers of original vintage and newer sewing patterns. We also have several members selling PDF patterns that are interpretations of original 1920’s and 1930’s patterns.

No members of the team are to sell digital copies of patterns that directly compete with members selling originals regardless of copyright status.

What is the team about?
As a team, we work to support our members by offering resources as well as personalized help. The team threads are an amazing resource for help with pricing, style terms, dating, photo editing, SEO, tags, and titles.

What We Require of our Members
All team members are required to participate in some way every month. Every month you must post in the Check in discussion and tell us how you help support the Pattern Patter Team.

Team members are expected to follow ALL ETSY rules and regulations regarding their shop, listings, and online behavior. As a group of dedicated professionals, we hold ourselves to the highest standards of conduct.

Sharing content with Pattern Patter Team. It is time to clarify what we as a team and as individuals should expect when we share our posts, adivce, and offer to put content onto the team's blog and VPC website. So here it is in a nutshell:

1) Anything you write in a thread belongs to the team. It is at the discretion of the team leaders if they feel a post needs to be removed for any reason. Otherwise, anything that is posted in a thread, comment on the blog, or other social media belongs to the team. No exceptions.

2) Blog Posts, Free Patterns, and Resources:
Anything you offer to the Pattern Patter Team for the team blog and/or VPC website is given freely and without restrictions to the team. While you maintain your rights to the content, you grant Pattern Patter Team and Vintage Pattern Collective an unrestricted and perpetual never ending license to use the content as we see fit. You may not rescind this permission at a later date.

Before you post or offer content to the blogs and/or the Vintage Pattern Collective webpage, please read and understand the above conditions.

We aren’t all Business!
We focus heavily on working together to make us the best that we can be! We also have a social bond. Many of us regardless of our location have formed close friendships. We support each other through difficult times and celebrate the good times.

How to Join
Pattern Patter is a moderated team. In order to join;
1. Have an about page for your shop
2. Have your Policies Page complete
3. Comply with all of Etsy’s Terms of Use https://www.etsy.com/help/article/479?ref=help_search_result
4. Be willing to promote other members on the team.
5. Supply an email address for monthly communication
6. Check each pattern for completeness and list
7. Shop inventory must be a minimum of 80% Sewing Patterns
