I designed this pendant around a button of shimmery plum and wine-red raku. I created a front-closure toggle clasp from the button, and paired it with large, freeform stick pearls in "copper peacock" that mimic the velvety sheen of the raku, and little merlot-hued garnets. I accented it with my handmade, textured copper "cocoon" beads (based on a tutorial by Kharisma Sommers of Popnicute jewelry.) Sturdy copper-plated steel rolo chain in a moody antiqued finish.

This necklace portion measures about 26" long, and can be shortened or lengthened on request--just convo me. The button/pearl/garnet pendant section measures an additional 3.5" below that. All of the copper in this necklace has been sealed in a protective lacquer to preserve patina and shine, and protect clothing from natural oxidation of the metal.
