This handbound, handsewn, blank journal features a very abstract and graphic floral design. It measures 5.75"x7.75" and has twelve octavo signatures for a total of 96 pages of white 32lb high quality 25% cotton rag paper with 30% post-consumer recycled content. The cotton rag of the book block has a texture that makes it a good paper for drawing with pencil or charcoal, and is nice light weight writing paper, but heavy enough that even a fine tipped sharpie will not bleed or show through.

The exposed spine binding method, in addition to adding a lovely decorative detail to the spine, allows for the book to lay flat and stay open at every page. This makes the book ideal for writing, drawing and sketching. The six-needle Greek across the spine coptic sewing is bound with a rich purple colored premium waxed Irish linen thread.

The end and fly papers are a lovely mix of fuchsia and pink Japanese unryu, and purple Japanese oguru lace.

100% archival and acid-free materials and methods.
