This used old bell is an Indian original! A simple small bell in a very good state.

The beaded string is full of lovely stunning blue and pink beads. Take a close look for the details.

The beaded bell charms are little stories of my feelings, my moods, my thoughts. Alone this beaded string is beautiful, together with a few more strings with bells this story is stunning!

It is difficult to make a picture while this string is hanging, the way I took the picture now hopefully shows you,
as good as possible, the used beads and the pattern .......

Bells come in many shapes and forms and each one produces its own sound.

In India and Nepal temple bells are mostly used for pujas. Besides in religious ceremonies one finds bells around the necks of animals e.g. cows, waterbuffaloes, elephants, camels and goats.

Other cultures also use bells for various purposes. Their sound is used in meditations or just for pure pleasure e.g. when the wind is playing with them.
Some tribes use bells to avert evil spirits, other tribes use them to put their children to sleep.

StrongBeads uses bells for decorative purposes.

I made a lot of bells with fine beaded strings over the years. In the beginning with my "left over beads". Not any more .....
Now this strings are all over the world taken back home by travellers; hanging in gardens, kitchens, living rooms, in front of windows, on balconies.

The beaded part is approximately 131 cm \/ 51,5 " in lenght incl. bell

The bell diameter is 5,5 cm \/ 2,25 "
