This is a gorgeous gold-filled Victorian Slide bracelet, approx 1/2" wide, a little over 6 3/4" long, and the slide itself is approx. 7/8" wide. This originally would have been longer, but someone with very small wrists must have cut it down! I can get it on and wear it, but it is a snug fit and feels 'dangerous'! I've thought of making a decorative piece to add on to it...but I've had it for almost 10 years and haven't gotten around to it yet, so what are the chances...?!
I have found this bracelet on page #130 of the 'Collecting Victorian Jewelry' book, written by C. Jeanenne Bell, G.G.
The book was published in 2004 (the price of gold was about 1/3 of the price today) and the value listed then was $425.00. [feel free to ask for a scan of the book page].

So, what would you do with this piece?! :)

This bracelet will come in an appropriate gift box.
