These two booklets are sure to bring the holiday season into any home.

One is titled on the outside "Merry Christmas". On the front inside page it says, "The Christmas Story...A Family Program for Christmas Eve". This booklet is a collection of carols and Scripture readings intended for a family Christmas gathering at home. It was distributed by The Economics Press Inc., West Orange, N. J. (Late 1960s/early 1970s)

The other is titled "Christmas with Charles Dickens". It is beautifully illustrated outside and within, and is bound together by a red rope tie with tassels. This booklet contains excerpts from various works by Dickens that pertain to traditional holiday customs such as holly and mistletoe, yule logs, the singing of carols, and much more. This booklet was compiled to show that had it not been for many of Dickens' books, traditional holiday customs that we hold dear today would have fallen by the way side. It was published by Shaw-Barton, Coshocton, Ohio (1950s)
