After years of painting watercolor paintings, I have stacks of scraps of watercolor paper in funny, small sizes. I've been saving them back hoping that I would one day find a purpose for them. In a moment of inspiration during one of my son's short afternoon naps, I realized that these pieces of scraps offer a wonderful opportunity for fun, fast paintings to help rejuvenate creativity, explore color schemes, and, as luck would have it, be green!

Here are some possible uses for scrap-paper paintings:
-bookmark
-scrapbook accessory
-mount on card stock and frame for wall art
-place in a greeting card for that little something extra
-add to flowers you are sending someone special
-just to keep handy to brighten your day!

This scrap-paper painting is of a green and white pumpkin. It measures 1-3/4 inches by 3-1/2 inches, and it is watercolor and ink on a high quality watercolor paper. If you like this piece, check out some of my other scrap-paper paintings!
