This is hands down, my all time favorite teapot.

It's old white vitreous china, and so a little heavier than some. (Think old diner dishes heavy) And it's in fabulous vintage condition.
It only has one tiny nick on the underside edge of the spout's lip, and the inside is spotless and shiny still. It may never have been used. The maker's mark is on the bottom, (Porcelier), and it's American made.
There are no cracks and no stains, save three teeny spots on the knob that probably came up through the clay when it was fired.
It measures about 7 inches from bottom to the top of the lid's knob, and about 5 inches front to back, and about 8 inches from tip to handle.

The sailing scene is in bas relief and there is a slightly raised pattern around the neck of ropes and anchors. The lid has a little hole to let off steam.

I'll carefully bubble wrap both pieces and put it in a flat rate box for shipping.
