Issue #24 of Culture Slut is a split with Motor City Kitty #16, a cut-and-paste perzine by my longtime friend, Bri.

In my half, I write about my winter survival strategies, like quitting the birth control pill, learning how to screenprint and dressing fashionably warm. I include a list of New Year's resolutions, a recipe for mulled wine, and I lament the fact that nobody seems to remember Kurt Cobain's feminist politics. (Cover illustration by Emilja Frances, collaged by me.)

Bri writes about sexism in her local music scene and her feelings of empowerment after forming a Bikini Kill cover band as part of a Halloween show. She shares illustrations and a cute comic about her most recent New Year's Eve, as well as thoughts on zinester burnout.

Quarter-size, cut-and-paste, 46 pages.

If you order this zine by 12pm EST on Wednesday, March 23rd, I'll mail it out that day. Any time afterward, and I'll mail it out on March 30th, as I'll be in Chicago for a few days and won't be able to access Etsy.
