This is such a pretty set.

The top is a long-sleeve, snap-front, newborn size Tshirt that I've dyed a beautiful combination of olive green and pink. I use fiber-reactive dyes, which are permanent, so no worries about fading or bleeding dye.

The diaper is a size small (approx 8-16 lbs) fitted. The outer layer of the diaper is a really pretty pink satin with wine, chocolate, olive, raspberry, lime, and lemon dots. Inside are two full layers of flannel with a hidden soaker inside made of two layers of cotton fleece (sherpa).

Additionally, the external soaker pad contains an additional two layers of sherpa. The external soaker pad is sewn to the edge of the diaper's inner surface to allow for ease of cleaning and super fast drying, while keeping the diaper to just ONE piece, instead of two pieces to keep track of in the laundry.

Then, the entire inner surface of the diaper is covered with super-soft, stay-dry microfleece. Microfleece is not only so soft against baby's skin, but it also pulls moisture away from the skin, keeping it dry.

The diaper closes with super strong Touchtape closures, which allow for the best possible fit (compared to snaps). The closures feature a crossover tab for even greater adjustability, as well as laundry tabs, to keep the closure nice and clean. Touchtape is ideal for cloth diapers, since it stands up to the frequent washings and even more frequent openings and closings.

The diaper is turned and topstitched, with the elastic encased safely away from baby's sensitive skin. It is Wallypop brand (my "other" store). The Wallypop mediums usually fit most kids from age 3/6 months through potty training, but every kid is different. This is a fitted diaper and, as such, is not waterproof. It would need a cover over it to be waterproof. Additionally, many families wear fitteds around the house without a cover for summertime coolness.

I do want to note that satin is not as strong of a fabric as is usually used in cloth diapers and may not have the same lifespan as diapers made from more traditional diaper fabrics.
