Selene makes me imagine a really intense Cyndi Lauper fan circa 1983 in the bathroom switching out crimp iron plates and hair mascara colors, unable to decide between wavy or straight or blonde or platinum or Lucille Ball red, so she's wearing all her textures and hair colors at once. Whether you'd like to draft smoothly to blend one fiber into another or go with the natural wool crimp or smooth slick silk, here is a batt that offers options.

This is the same type of batt I make for spinning the yarns in my shop, and while I use restraint in how many times I run each one through my drum carder in order to preserve a spontaneous, ethereal texture, these are still more blended than one might expect in an art yarn batt. I'm also happy to card any batt another time or two for you if you would prefer.

I do often include a small amount of nylon and usually a not so small amount of silk in my batts but havenot found in my own practice that this interferes with wet or dry felting. Convo me and I'll pull off a small sample and do a quick felt test under a hot and cold faucet for you just to make sure.

My fibers are processed with acid dyes and mild unscented soap. Some batts include selections from the beautiful dyed or natural farm wools I purchase for my own private spinning and could include a teeny amount of VM that's slipped by me in carding, usually consisting of a nearly microscopic bit of hay or twig that falls out easily while being spun. See materials tags for fibers specific to this batt.

Please bear in mind that monitor colors can vary from computer to computer and this batt may or may not appear slightly different from how you see it here. Shipped within 2 business days (usually the next day actually) in a batt-proportionate box to minimize compression.
