This is a Alice in Wonderland costume I put together with a circle skirt and matching blouse for a friend of mine. It's a sweet and innocent version and could be Little Bo Peep or no character at all, as it is the perfect dancing dress. My friend had a change of plans, so I'm offering it here. You will receive all four wardrobe pieces and except for the headband they are all vintage!

Vintage Blouse: Metal zipper up the back in robins egg blue gingham cotton poly blend. There is a 2" square patch where someone repaired a part of the belly. There are some strained seams here and there where a couple of stitches need to be secured. I'll try to do that before I ship it to you. The elastic has lost its zing so the sleeves hang loose around the bottom, but as you can see...it still looks cute. A seamstress has added a panel of ginghamfabric in the sides of the blouse to give the wearer an extra inch or two in the bust and sides. There is embroidered gauzey overlay with grosgrain ribbon around the neck and bottom of sleeve.

Circle skirt: dramatically full and really intended to have a big ol' crinoline underneath it, but looks cute without as I have shown here. Loads of fabric and swing. Zipper up the back with metal hook. Reinforced waist has no stretch at all, so check that waist measurement and make sure you are a little bit smaller.

Apron: Ties at the waist with embroidered flowers and button accents and shoulders and within the flower design. A small spot or two that doesn't detract and may come out with a wash. The ties at the neck are wired ribbon ties that were added as this was originally an antique apron that was designed to be safety pinned to one's clothes.

Headband: Covered with ribbon robins egg blue and white ribbon and a bit of blue and white polka dot to bring the Alice and Wonderland look together.
