This is a panel of two uncut silk scarves, each signed Roger Van S, a fabulous New York husband and wife design team from the sixties.

Each panel measures 31 inches wide by 60 inches long and consists of two scarves that cut apart and finished on the edges would be 29" squares. Together they would make a beautiful top or skirt or you could have a top or scarf and a wall hanging by stretching one onto a frame.

The colors are wonderful: turquoise, seafoam green, grape, antique gold, chocolate and ivory.

This is high quality smooth silk, unused, from the Roger Van S estate. The fabric is strong and soft, and the colors vibrant. There is some discoloration - a little spottiness in the dye that doesn't wash out, and a couple of pin holes. I experimented with other panels by gently hand washing - the marks didn't wash out but the rest remained sharp and didn't run either. I've tried to show this irregularity in the photos but it doesn't really show without holding it up to the light and really examining. I will do my best to select the best panels off the bolt.

I have lots of panels still on the bolt, so if you'd like more than one panel, I would ship them uncut. Questions welcome. Any shipping overcharge will be refunded. Thanks for looking.
