This rustic but beautiful cutting board has loads of character. It features spalted oak on both edges with worm holes riddling the wood, mostly on one side. To add to the rustic effect, I left some of the circular saw marks from the Amish sawmill visible on the long edges. Spalted sycamore strips are included in the middle, contrasting with black walnut and salvaged mahogany. It is my ideal size for most kitchen tasks - not too small, yet light enough to handle easily. The over-sized hole at one corner works as an easily graspable handle and will accommodate about any size peg or hook to hang on your wall or from a pan rack.

This cutting board measures about 15 1/4" x 11 1/4" at it's widest points, and is one inch thick.

This original piece, made by Espri Bender-Beauregard, is initialed and dated "EB 2011." Every item we create is unique, so what you are purchasing is exact items shown.

We include a gift-quality tag with care instructions with every cutting board.
