The living Springtime gift. Nothing brightens up the rainy days better then a living gift.

The bright green spikes of the plants, the chartreuse colors in the moss and the BLING of the glass vessel in this terrarium will light up your home all year long. It will fit anywhere you might need a little life. I make them, but really they are just a great, inexpensive way to make you or someone you know - SMILE on a rainy morning. Plus they are alive and they can be ignored.

This 8" Tillandsia or Air Plant Kit is perfect for a side table and corner in your kitchen or even your office. It comes with two Tillansia plants, a nice thick glass cylinder that is 8" x 4", driftwood, natural colored desert sand, chartruesse moss and natural river stones. Thank you shopping and I look forward to answering any questions you might have in serving your terrarium needs.

Bromeliads (Tillandsia or Air Plants)

Bromeliaceae (bro-meh-lee-AH-say-eye). The family contains over 3000 known plant species and about 56 genera as of this writing. The pineapple is the most well known bromeliad. Bromeliads incude Spanish Moss and many look like aloes or yuccas while others look like green, leafy grasses.

They are generally inexpensive, easy to grow, require very little care, and are very rewarding to the gardner because they usually bloom in brilliant, long lasting flowers usually with highly ornamental foliage. They can be miniatures or giants. They grow indoors in colder climates and outdoors where temperatures are always above freezing. All of my plant stock comes from certified nurseries and growers. Wholesale prices for Tillandsia have doubled in recent weeks and my retail has increased to reflect actual cost increases (March 2012).

My shipping cost is USPS Priority Mail which is (10.50) that I discount a bit from my retail price. Shipping includes premium packaging to ensure safety of glass and plant materials. Thank you so much for looking .
