Bon Appetit from Escole Des 3 Gourmandes!

This listing is for one porcelain coaster/trivet. The coaster is imprinted with a quote from Julia Child, the woman who introduced fine French cuisine to the humdrum home menus of mid-twentieth century America. Julia’s wit and easy approach to complicated recipes endeared her to all of us.

This porcelain coaster/trivet is lead-free and is 3 7/8 inches square. Each coaster/trivet was randomly molded and marbled to resemble natural tumbled stone. It matches 15 other Julia Child coasters and a trivet, all found elsewhere in this shop.

The coaster/trivet is hand screen-printed with glossy epoxy resin ink by artist, Pam Poulson. Epoxy ink makes the images scratch resistant, doing away with the need for coating of any kind—the matte finish of the ceramic against the gloss of the black ink is the sophisticated end result.

Each coaster rests on four large felt feet to prevent damage to surfaces.

Each coaster is equipped with a sawtooth hanger for displaying on the wall.

Each coaster comes with its own burgundy jute pouch.

Due to the variability of the random swirling of colors during molding and the fact that each tile is hand screen-printed, your tiles may look slightly different from those pictured here.

Because of felt feet, these are NOT DISH WASHER SAFE. Wipe clean with damp cloth.
