I like globes, the odder, the better. This is the first yellow globe I have come across, and it is awesome. It looks like it was probably part of a game at some point, as there is a ring around the equator with instructions like ‘discard’ and ‘take’, and then a lot of other three letter abbreviations that I don’t understand. Based on the fact that it depicts Korea as still one country, Vietnam is Indochina, and the presence of Italian Somaliland this globe dates from somewhere between 1936-1949. There is some definite wear and tear, including scuffs, chips and dents, but it only adds to the awesomeness.
