This vintage corset style teacup and saucer made of bone china by Aynsley in England is a gorgeous jet black. This deco styled teacup and saucer, c. 1930s, is striking without a lot of frill. It jumped out at me among many cups, almost like standing its ground. The rose on the inside of the cup is not seen when looking head, but the slightest tilt reveals itself. This is a standard size teacup and would be fantastic in a black and white kitchen, which is so popular now-a-days. This would make a fantastic addition to any deco inspired decor or as an addition or start of a collection.

There is a bit of paint loss on the saucer (see picture 4), but minimal, almost like pin pricks. I love the lines of this cup as you can actually see them and are not distracted by a lot of flowers or bright colors. It is like the old saying, "watch out for the quiet ones." This cup is not loud but screams, "look at me" by its simplicity. Just an absolute stunning cup more like art than a teacup.
