This crisp, clean Theodore Haviland soup tureen is a feast for the eyes. Everywhere you look on it, is a special detail in the fabrication and decor of this wonderful piece. From the swirly scrolls mixed with the tiniest green foliage, to the thick gilded handles and berries on top; there is just so much detailing! The lid has even lines molded into it. But there are even lines molded into this piece that you will never see unless you turn it upside down. There is no wear on this piece, the opening for the ladel is still unbroken and sharp on the edges. The handles are covered with berries, the sides are a wonderful scalloped ribbon pattern. I just love it all.

Tureen measures about one foot across and about 6.5" tall from table to top of lid handle.
I double dog dare you to serve someone out of it. I still can't. It is put up in the "special" place. For eyes only. Unless of course you come to dinner. We'll pull out all the stops for you.

Not the best cook? Done the soup walk of shame? Honey, put it in this and anything will taste good. Lids are magic you know.

Enjoy!
