HEIRLOOM ORGANIC HOLLYHOCK SEEDS! Latin: Alcea Rosea
Hollyhocks are gorgeous flowers that can grow 4-8 foot tall stalks.

GENEROUS amt of seeds (priced for 20, but you get more like 100, I promise!!!). And you will get an assortment of gorgeous colors, from peach two-tones, to double headed pinks (they resemble carnations), to deep burgandy, to black, to yellow to white & pink two-tones.
These darlings come to you directly from the Iron Dog Ranch, and on our 5 acres we use NO pesticides of any sort whatsoever, ever, ever ever.

(We have bees on the Irondog Ranch and if a bee takes pollen from a plant that has any pesticide on it, it will not be allowed back into the hive and we love our bees). And we love no pesticides, no bone meal and 100% organic. In addition to that, our water supply is an ice cold, crystal clear, sparkling clean, Artesian Spring (cold enough to numb your hand in 30 seconds and tested clean enough to bottle!). What that means to you is even when watering our plants, there is no lead or other chemicals of any sort, which is why it would make GREAT plants for tea!

Did u know that, hollyhocks can be used as an herbal remedy for cough, congestion, sore throat and upset stomach? True! Because it contains no poisons or toxic compounds in its seeds, flowers or roots, it is considered a safe herb, and makes a great floral tea to sooth a variety of ailments. (We recommend the cold infusion process if you are using the petals, and we include instructions for making cold infusion tea with your seeds! – You can also make tea the “traditional” way of course, too

NOTE: Although they are called perennials, I’ve found it helps to let some of the seeds fall to ensure “forever flowers”. (And there’s so many gorgeous flowers, you’ll get plenty of extra seeds). They prefer full sun, but will grow great for you in part shade too
