My great grandfather owned and ran a farm in the wilds of Pennsylvania. His specialty, among many things, was honey, and he liked to use handmade ceramic honey jars stopped up with a cork. I have acquired several of such unused jars and wish to pass them along to a collector or ceramics lover.

This listing is for one jug in a beautiful sky blue color. The original cork fell inside the jug, but a new one could easily be found for cheap. It is small and measures about 5" or 6" tall. It would be a perfect addition to a bookshelf as an accent piece. Or it could be used as a vase, centerpiece, or added to an already growing collection of earthenware jugs.

Please note that this particular jug did not stand the test of time, and there is a significant chip on the bottom. It does not detract from the balance or the beauty of the jug, but I am listing it at a discounted price!

The jug will arrive bubble wrapped and shipped via medium flat rate box.
