This bowl is to be made to order for Magah.

The cat yarn bowll will look very similar to the bowl shown in the photo listing and will take 2 to 2-1/2 weeks to complete it will measure approximately 4" high by 5-3/4" wide and iwill be signed on the bottom.

Gray Tabby Cat against background of rich red roses. This white stoneware yarn bowl has been hand thrown and the image of a blue-eyed gray tabby cat pushed out from inside to form a high relief image. The yarn feeds out of the cats mouth for a permanent feed but there is a tail-like cut out in the back of the bowl if you want to change yarns out. Cats are usually the reason that people use yarn bowls so it's a little ironic, though appropriate, that a cat should be the main feature of one. If you set a smaller plastic bowl inside of this one it can also be used to hold flowers. I made my first Knitty Kitty a year ago - cut and paste this YouTube video to see a Knitty Kitty at work:

The tabby cat and the floral background have been hand painted with underglazes and fired twice up to over 2,100 degrees in a ceramic kiln.
