Incredible 1950s hand painted circle skirt with birds & boys wearing sombreros playing the guitar. Wear with a petticoat or without. Unlined cotton.

Measured flat. Allow about ½” for a comfortable fit.

26" waist. The waistband extends further than this, so the hook & eye closures could be moved to add a couple of inches. These skirts have a slit at the waistband, so if you add too many inches, the skirt will be open from the hip to the waist. Traditionally these are worn with a petticoat underneath.

Free hips.

31.5" long, measured down the center back.

Size: Fits like an Extra Small.

Maker: There are some words painted on the skirt, but I'm not sure if they are the maker's name.

Materials: Cotton. Hooks & eyes.

Condition is good. A few small marks. The fabric is slightly frayed at the inside of the hem.
