Tis the season to start travelin! I can remember as a little one traveling with my grandparents. Back then I think I coulda fit in that trunk! The memories! Any of you have traveling memories?

Great looking treasury, I will be sure to share today.
Seems we traveled alot by car. I was an only child so I had my pick of the back seat. We had a big ole Buick and there was the pull-down armrest that was bigger than a bicycle seat. I loved to sit on it. But then my dad would yell at me because I was blocking his view in the rear view mirror! Note, this was the no seatbelts time in auto travel history!!

swoonantiques. When I was a wee lad I too sat on the armrest...up front! Yup :) right between the grandparents. I'd sit proudly and watch the hashes fly bye! Indeed the days before seat belts or other restraints :)
