Great treasury Norina,
My Dad was on the USS Dixie in the Navy and was Chaing Kai Chek's bodyguard. My Dad's brother was a gunner on a battleship in the South Pacific and fought in all the major sea battles during WWII in the Pacific. All enlisted people who risk their lives for the USA are my heros.

As one of the pics states, "Valor remembered". Indeed. My mother is a sailor's daughter. She always said she was a "navy brat".

My family just welcomed our sailor home after being away for 7 months so this treasury is very touching! God bless our military! Thanks so much for including my magnet!

Soo thrilled to be included in this lovely tribute.
My Dad ran away from home as a kid to join the Navy. Truly he was an artist, tho and would have LOVED etsy! He did the cartoons in the USS Columbia's Yearbooks in the very early 50's.

And I miss him every minute.

Thank you. xxx
