With this eco-friendly crochet kit you can make your own cheerful crochet robin ornament in gorgeous merino yarn.

This beautiful plastic-free, eco-friendly DIY kit contains everything you need to make one bird, and makes a great gift for a crocheter.

The little robin is perfect hanging from a twig tree, sitting on a windowsill, as a Christmas ornament, or in a mobile, or you could also make it into a friendly bag charm.

UK crochet, US crochet and French versions of the crochet pattern are all available. Please indicate which version you would like at checkout. If you don't know which to choose, I can help.

The pattern is worked with 3mm (US: C-2 or D-3) and 3.5mm (US: E-4) crochet hooks (or the sizes you need to make a compact crochet fabric with the given yarn). I offer lovely natural bamboo crochet hooks by Pony if you'd like to try them or are giving this kit as a gift.

The finished bird is approximately 8cm or 3⅛" long.

The carded wool stuffing is a natural product. It is scoured and clean but may still include the odd bit of straw or leaf.

The kit is plastic-free and designed to be as sustainable as I can possibly make it. It is beautifully presented, so makes a great gift for a crafty and/or eco-minded friend.

Not suitable for use by persons under the age of 14.

You can also choose to have the kit gift-wrapped at checkout. I use 100% recycled tissue, paper tape (varies seasonally), a 100% recycled cotton tie and an up-cycled cardboard tag to complete your eco-friendly gift. Between now and 23rd December, I will use Christmas-themed gift-wrapping: if you'd prefer a non-Christmas wrapping, just let me know at checkout.
